About Charles
An internationally accomplished composer, orchestrator, and musician, Charles Harrison masterfully crafts evocative, original music in a diverse range of genres. His passion for sonic storytelling vividly brings creative visions to life across various multimedia.
Charles is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist who plays in various bands around the South West, in folk, country, jazz, and blues styles.
Charles teaches instruments (piano, violin, drums, guitar) across a number of different primary schools, as well as privately. Charles is passionate about normalising access to music and ensuring music is always interesting, fun and engaging.
"I grew up surrounded by music, playing and composing; always encouraged to be creative. At a very early age, I studied drumming and soon moved on to other instruments, such as keyboard, guitar and violin. I played in bands, orchestras, folk groups and much more… I went on to earn my degree in Music and Sound Production Technology, focusing on composition. For all of my adult life, I have been freelancing as a composer/musician, working internationally with various companies, clients, directors and producers. My passion for music also extends beyond the professional, as I enjoy writing and releasing my own music and songs both as an independent artist and in collaboration with other creatives."
