How long I will keep information
I will only store information for as long as is necessary to carry out the agree contract of teaching the student. If the student, who is undertaking their lessons at a school, stops their lessons and subsequently leaves school, then it will be presumed that lessons are unable to continue, so any existing contracts with personal information will be deleted.
If a student/guardian decides to cancel a monthly payment contract, then this contract will also be deleted.
It is understood that if there is any potential opportunity for students/parents to continue lessons in the future, then name and contact info will be kept on file in order to keep them updated of future teaching opportunities.
Outdated information is reviewed each academic year and any that is deemed unnecessary, with regard to the above, will be deleted.

In the specific case of exam recording, in which I record and submit the exam, videos of performing students will only be kept for as long as is required to submit the recording for examination. During the examination period, videos will not be shared with anyone else, as per exam board regulations. Once exam results are confirmed, the student and/or parent/guardian may request their own copy of the video, after which the video will be permanently deleted from any of my devices on which it remains.
